Park is run by Donna and Steve Shapland with the
"help" of our 3 "kids"-our dogs- Molly,
Heidy and Harry.

We are situated on the edge of
the Lockyer Valley, in the foothills of the Toowoomba Range in
Queensland. We have 20 acres in a quiet picturesque spot,
halfway between Toowoomba and Gatton.
Our stud began in 1998, after
seeing the miniatures for the first time on a trip to the
Brisbane Exhibition. I had always been involved with
"big" horses, but fell instantly in love with these
little guys.

arm, I had to have just one for a pet!!!!
Well that little one, Nikky...of
course looked lonely amongst the big boys, so she needed a
friend....
And so the story goes. The old
mini bug bit and here we are today. A stud striving for quality
not quantity.
Our aim is to breed sound
quality horses that people can look at in a photo and say
"is that a big horse or a little horse??"
We have
incorporated some top class American bloodlines, as well as
quality Australian and Welsh lines.

| Temperament is a vital part
of our breeding program. We feel our foals will always be born
being happy, friendly little personalities! As well as
exhibiting the things we desire in our horses... Length of leg,
beautiful head, length of rein, correct confirmation,
soundness, refinement, elegance and floating movement. Our horses are
treated like part of the family. So are happy, friendly and love
cuddles!
Our horses range from Full Australian
through to Full American. Something for everyone!
We also have our bigger boy - Zak (Ricky Hunter) is a 1985 model,
ex-trotter...
Zak adores the little ones.
Its handy having the bigger
horse around, the foals are
always very used to Zak hanging over their fence, watching them be
born, watching them play... At ag shows our horses are never
frightened of the big horses like some poor little minis!!

We do show some of
our horses, but due to full time work commitments, we only ever
have a small show team. We are extremely proud of our horses show
results in the past. Results can be found on our show page.
