We leased this mare to put to our then stallion Samis Kloudy Rowdy. Sadly Blaze wasn't in foal to Sam, so as the lease agreement was for us to get a foal from her, we put her to our previous stallion Southern Star Flashback aka Jack. A magnificent bay sabino great grandson of our Sami... This was to be Jack and Blazes first foal and what a beauty she was. Sadly she was born with a terrible case of lax tendons in the back legs. We fought for 3 long months to get her right, but she had no improvement at all. Please feel free to read our tribute to our darling Baby Bella on our In Memory Page.

Blaze went through so much with being stabled and locked away from her friends. She just never put a foot wrong. There was no way i could send her back at the end of the lease, so we purchased her.

I love her colour, her soundness, her type and mostly her beautiful loving nature. Blaze is just a truly gorgeous girl.

Baby Bella... Blaze has been sent to Anyssa Park Miniatures back to Southern Star Flashback for a full brother or sister to our dear little Bella... Thank you Renee for the service to Jack, you are a true friend! Blaze's half sister - Harrington Park Picture Perfect, owned by Renee, has also been put in foal to Southern Star Flashback. Will be interesting to compare these foals as they will be very closely related.

July 09 - Sadly Blaze has absorbed her foal..... We are just so sad about this. The full sibling to Bella was just not meant to be. Blaze will be put in foal to the magnificent imported RFM Boogermans Ultimate Warrior before returning in foal. We so look forward to this exciting foal in 2010...

Oct 10 - WELL SURPRISE OF OUR LIFE!!!! Blaze had a secret little Rendezvous with Warrior in June and is in foal already!!! We were wondering why she wasn't cycling, on scanning here was a little bubby already on the way. SHOCK of our lives... Blaze was actually carrying twins, but fortunately one has died and actually "mummified" on the cord... Will be interesting to see if it is present when Blaze foals.

We will have what will be the 2nd Warrior foal in Australia to be born in MAY..... Rugs will be ready and a heated stable when this sneaky little blighter comes out. Fingers crossed for a chestnut filly with LOTS of chrome :)
